So much for his Constitutional right to free speech.

I wonder if that particular group of Tea Partiers will be so gung-ho for Sarah Palin if she quits on them like she did on Alaska.

And no, Snowy, he DID get his freedom of speech.  Freedom of speech doesn't come with the right to be heard or the right to have people not shout you down or turn their backs on you. Welcome to politics.

Wow! What is it about her that has people under her spell? This is scary!!

Syrin from Wasilla

How can they not see that their little "grassroots" movement has been bought up by the "big government" types they are so against, and that it is *using them* towards it own ends - and against their best interests? Seriously, how can they be so blind?

Of course, if you think about the illiteracy displayed on some of the protest signs, I guess it's not that hard to fathom that they'd be clueless about being used and pushed into utter hypocrisy and self-defeating purposes, eh?

It still baffles me that these people - swept up in the moment, propelled by fear and fueled by fear-mongers - can be so utterly and willfully ignorant. It's as if they don't *want* to see the truth. They contradict themselves at every turn and try asking them a pointed question - you'll get the same bumbling, nonsensical bilge the Sarah Palin fans standing in line for her book signings gave when asked what they liked about her politics. Poli..wha...? Oh um, well, she's one of us, ya know?

Yeah, only if
us
are unethical, ignorant, abusive and chronic liars!
