Those notes Sarah Palin wrote on her hand to help her remember her core beliefs were "a poor man's version of a teleprompter," Palin told Sean Hannity Thursday.
Thursday's health care summit was the subject, but Palin launched -- unprompted -- into a defense of her conspicuous use of notes at a tea party convention, which resulted in a wave of parodies -- and charges of hypocrisy, given her derision for President Obama's use of a teleprompter.
"Hey, remember those talking points that I had written on my hand a couple of weeks ago at the tea party movement because I'd done seven speeches in four days and I'm running up to the podium and -- you know, writing on my hand, well, that's a poor man's version of a teleprompter -- I write on my hand 'energy,' 'tax cuts,' 'lifting American spirits.' Those are the things that candidates need to embrace in order to get elected and get this country back on the right track," Palin said.
"It's quite simple," she added, although not simple enough for her to memorize, apparently. Read More
Question: Would you pay $500 to hear
ANY
politician speak? Well...that was the ticket price was for attending the teabaggers' convention where you could hear Palin speak! Palin pocketed $100K for that speech and she has the nerve to talk of poor men? Please! She's disingenuous at best, a lying, conniving incompetent at worst.

She is an amoral grifter. Ain't any other way to spin it in my book. Rotten to the core.

I've said it before, but let me elaborate; she raises hypocrisy, grifting, and prevaricating to an art form. Â It is something to behold. Â This is what she will be known for in the long term. Â She has no redeeming value whatsoever. Â I could ignore all this if Ms. Palin did not constantly seek to destroy anyone who gets in her way. Â The woman has no heart, no soul, and therefore, no moral compass. Â I can only assume her rabid supporters come from the same mold (in both senses of the word).
